Digital storage cards are like the floppy disks of our time. They're used to share data between devices like cell phones, cameras, computers and even Arduinos and the like. No matter whether it's carrying pictures from your High Altitude Balloon project, accelerometer data from your model glider or just pictures from vacation, at some point you'll want to get to all that juicy data.

Unfortunately, much like the floppy disk, many computers don't have built-in hardware to read your SD card.
