If you have a project where you'd like to be able to detach the wiring, this wire will fit the bill. Its a JST 2.5mm 'free hanging' cable assembly that latches strongly. One wire is marked with a white dashed line. You can't plug these in backwards.
This is the matching connector to the inverter. It is required to connect EL wire to the inverter! 0.1" (2.54mm) pitch connector on the end (we're not sure what the part number is but we're trying to figure it out)
This product comes with a JST SM 2.5mm MALE connector. The gender refers to the type of crimp contact (male pin or female socket) and not the housing.
This mates with all our products which use the JST SM series 2.5mm FEMALE connectors. If you wish to mate this product with any other style of connector, please see our range of EL Adapters
