A splendid piece of kit; out of the box and running in ten minutes using the code supplied by Sparkfun to detect the Manchester Coding provided at the output of the receiver IC. Code is modified easily to do whatever you like, inserting the battery is none too clear (there's a catch you have to pull across) and I managed to get the battery the right way round at the second go......(!)
Even for an absolute novice, this kit is brilliantly simple and elegant control solution. Well worth the cost.
