This board uses the ILD213T optoisolator to electrically isolate the low-voltage side of the board, this is Helpful for connecting digital systems to a high-voltage or noisy system.
This breakout board uses the ILD213T optoisolator and discrete transistors to correct the logic. Comes with two channels. Great for use in noisy circuits where signal lines require electrical isolation.
A normal LED opto-isolator will invert the logic of a signal. We threw some transistors on this compact board to correct the inversion. What you put into the IN pins, will be replicated on the the OUT pins, but at the higher voltage (HV).

I purchased this product to isolate a 12v automotive input from a 5v Arduino. This works perfectly with the 12v on the low side, and the Arduino on the high side, technically the opposite way round to the design, but it works fine.
My only issue is the SMD resistors on the low side that are fine for a 5v switch, but when I'm using 12v I want a 0.5w 400ohm resistor, that I need to mount externally. I ave removed the SMD resistors and used zero rated resistors with external in line resistors now and this also works fine.

solves a few space problems.
To improve ?
pads on back to bypass the led resistors,
isolate inputs, using free input pad, not a common return, so can attach to two different ground voltage sources.
