Proto-PIC Basic Sensor Kit

If you have just gotten started with electronics and want an affordable way of getting a few different types of sensors for your workbench then this kit is a great way to go!

This kit contains:

Hall Effect Sensor - Switches on and off when a magnet is in proximity.

0.25" Magnet Square - Use this to activate the Hall Effect Sensor.

SoftPot - These are very thin variable potentiometers. By pressing on various positions along the strip, you vary the resistance.

Flex Sensor 2.2" - As the sensor is flexed, the resistance across the sensor increases. Useful for sensing motion or positioning

Large Piezo Vibration Sensor - A flexible film able to sense for vibration, touch, shock, etc. When the film moves back and forth an AC wave is created, with a voltage of up to ±90.

Large Piezo Vibration Sensor - With Mass - Same as above but with a small Mass attached - this makes the sensor mroe sensitive to vibration - test it for yourself!

Small Self Adhesive Breadboard - Just big enough to stick the sensor in to allow you to attach wires to them without soldering - we think of everything here at Proto-PIC! The colour may vary (red, blue, white etc)
