Break Away Female Headers - Swiss Machine Pin

A single row of 30-holes, female header with swiss round machined pins.
These units have very high-quality round pins to accept and retain male round pin headers much better.
The headers can be cut to size with a pair of wire-cutters or using the Proto-PIC pin snapping tool! Standard .1" spacing.
While the Swiss might not be natural joke tellers, they do know a bit about precision!
Note: Be aware, these have round sockets, the standard square male pins of other headers do not fit. These should only be used if you need to mount ICs to PCBs, or if you intend to mate to other swiss round pin headers.

    I use these on Veroboard for connections. A much better fit than using square female headers for wire and jumper pins. The pins break away cleanly and easily with no waste.

    Exactly what I needed for my project to provide breakout contacts on the top of my board. The header is high quality and tightly grips the wires inserted into it.
