The Adafruit Mini PiTFT -- 135x240 Color TFT for Raspberry Pi is always ready for you to connect any of your Raspberry Pi devices giving you a simple UI for ease of life! This mini PiTFT displays at full color on a 240x135 pixel IPS display. Solely using the SPI port of the TFT ensures incredibly fast response time, leaving a lot of pins for all of your IO components. The Mini size of the TFT means it will fit into any case.
Living up to its “mini” name, the display is tiny, measuring in at 1.14″ diagonal, but worry not, since it is an IPS display it is easily readable (even the old guys in the office are singing its praises). Two tactile buttons have been installed on the GPIO pins enabling you to create a simple interface for the user. On the bottom, there is a Qwiic/STEMMA QT connector for your I2C sensors and Qwiic devices.
Very little set-up is required for the mini PiTFT, only requiring a kernel driver and library for the onboard ST7789 chipset. Either set-up it as a console output with text and a simple user interface or you can draw images, text, whatever you like, using the Python imaging library.
