MOSFET – N-Channel, 60V, 30A, TO-220
If you’ve ever wondered how to control the headlight of a car from a microcontroller, a MOSFET is what you need.
This particular part is a very common MOSFET with very low on-resistance and a control voltage (aka gate voltage) that is compatible with any 3-5V microcontroller or mechanical switch.
This device allows you to control high-power devices with very low-power control mechanisms.
Specifications:
- Drain Source Voltage: 60V
- Dran Current (Continuous @ 25°C): 32A
- Operating Temperature: -55 ~ +175°C
- Package: TO-220 – 3Pin

used three of these in a particle project to power an led strip

On to my latest project used these before and they worked well working just as good with latest ideas

Tried different mosfet but these are the best, all the time

Needed to switch some high currend devices with a micro controller these FET were just the job and work just fine

Have you tried using a higher value pull down resistor say 100k?
