This is a great little module that I've found ideal for powering low power 3.3V microcontroller projects. The ability to power these projects with just a single AA cell is very convenient.

Very useful little device, it works as advertised - but a shame it doesn't expose the enable to the outside world; it wouldn't have been difficult to place an extra couple of pads on the artwork to allow this.

With this little breakout, you can power a microcontroller and its peripherals from a single 1.5v Alkaline battery!
Need I say more?
This breakout board includes all the necessary components required by the NCP1402 3.3 DC-DC step-up converter. The board will accept inputs between 1V and 3V (such as 1 or 2 AA batteries) and outputs a constant, low ripple 3.3V at up to 200mA. The input, output and ground pins have been broken out 0.1" spaced holes to allow easy access on a breadboard.
