It supplies heat to melt solder so that it can flow into the joint between two workpieces.

Soldering Iron Stand

Soldering iron stands and stand accessories are used to hold a hot iron when not in immediate use. The operator can set a hot iron in the stand without worrying about laying the iron on a flammable or otherwise damageable surface.

The Solder Vacuum, a great (and sometimes under appreciated) little tool for solder rework. It allows you to pull the molten solder out of a connection or via with ease. To use it you simply depress the plunger, heat up your solder, place the nozzle over the solder you want to remove and finally just push the button.

Soldering Tip

Soldering Iron Tip for the standard irons supplied with the Hakko FX-888D Soldering Stations. The Hakko T18 soldering tips are suitable for the Hakko FX-888D. Depending on your purpose, the right tip can simplify the soldering process very much. For SMD soldering a fine tip is suitable, but to heat larger surfaces a wider tip is necessary.
