What is MicroMod?
MicroMod is an ecosystem created by our super-brainy friends at Sparkfun. This ecosystem is made up of modular carrier and processor boards designed for rapid prototyping and dynamic project changes. By using the M.2 connector, this interchangeable development philosophy links various microcontroller processor boards to carrier board peripherals, allowing you to easily swap out controllers based on your project needs and evolution.
Currently, MicroMod comprises three processor boards, covering the most popular platforms, and four carrier boards:
The MicroMod ecosystem integrates seamlessly with Sparkfun's QWIIC interface, meaning that there is already a huge array of sensors and breakout boards already in stock, ready to go.
