Accelerometers - Sensors

Accelerometers are devices used to measure acceleration forces. As an example, you could use an accelerometer to measure gravity with a falling object, to more subtle movements, inclinations, and vibrations such as in a Wii stick (maybe that's a bad example of subtle movements) or mobile phones. These devices are electromechanical and measure the change in velocity or speed divided by time.

We stock a wide range of accelerometer components, sensors, modules, breakout boards, and cables. These are suitable for use with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, micro:bit, and for our other development boards. We also have tutorials to get you started.
