Adjustable Laser Mounting Stand

Proto-Pic offers some nice adjustable laser mount to attach any of our laser diode modules to your desk, robot, shark, etc. A set-screw holds the laser in place. You can then adjust the tilt. Has a flat mounting plate with two slots for easy attachment and adjustment.

Laser Diode

There is some laser diodes, these encapsulated laser diodes are Class IIIa 5mW, with a 650nm red wavelength. They can be driven from 2.8V to 5.2V so they're great for your embedded electronics project.
