LCD Displays
What is a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)?
An LCD (liquid-crystal display) is a flat-panel display that uses the light-modulating properties of liquid crystals combined with polarizers.
These liquid crystals do not emit light themselves and require a backlight or reflector of some kind in order to produce images.
These displays are used in PCs, phones, tablets, clocks, electronic photo frames, car dashboards and of course your telly, to name just a few!
