Lilypad is an affordable Arduino-based wearable electronic system that was developed by Dr. Leah Buechley. The Lilypad Boards are a great and easy way to complete any e-textiles project. You can add bright and colourful lights to your projects with LEDs, and then control these LEDs using an array of sensors.
All of the Lilypad products are designed with large sew holes to be easily sewn onto textiles using conductive thread, making them simple to get working - even if you're a beginner!
Some Lilypad units are even safe to wash!
