Rotary Potentiometer Range - 1K to 1M Ohm, Linear

 

A rotary potentiometer gives you the ability to simplify a user interface when selecting one of many possible inputs. When the pot is turned/manipulated the respective resistance of the circuit changes.  Connect Vin to an outer pin and GND to the opposite of our pin (It doesn't matter which way around!) and the center pin will then have a voltage that varies from 0 to Vin depending on the position of the pot. Hook the center pin to an ADC on a microcontroller and get a variable input from the user.
This pot has a bush mount with carbon track,Suitable for PCB mounting. Supplied with a serrated 6mm shaft which looks great with one of our compatible knobs. We think this Orange on Black Knob looks lovely atop one of these pots!
