Slide Potentiometer, X-Large POT, Linear Taper, 10K
A simple slide potentiometer can go a long way. Rated at 10kOhm and 0.5W. Comes with solder tab connections.

I've used these to make a basic MIDI mixer, controlled by an Arduino. Build quality is good, and the faders are very presentable with the matching potentiometer knobs. Would buy again.
